At Shreveport Music, we repair and maintain all makes and models of vintage and modern stringed instruments as well as amps, PA's, pedals, and much more. Don Opperman, who heads up our repair division, has over 45 years of experience as a guitar technician and builder and has worked with notable musicians including Stevie Ray Vaughn, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Walsh, Ian Hunter, and Shreveport's own Kenny Wayne Sheppard. James French is our technician for repairs of tube and solid state guitar/bass amps, power amps, mixing boards, pedals, etc. James attended Greensboro Techhnical College in Electronics Engineering Technology and has gained a ton of experience while working at Shreveport Music.
